I have a web enabled form I am working on and need to pull the user name of the person so that I can programatically setup rolls with an xml file.  Currently the userName() only pulls the first name, which works, but we really need to pull both the first name and last name.  Any ideas?

userName() doesn't pull first or last name - it pulls the actual username.  You can then pass this username to the User Profile Web Service to return the PreferredName, which shows up in the form of "Last Name, First Name."  Or, you can just pull the first name and last name separately to put in whatever order you want.

 That is correct.  I found out that once I published it to the web, it did in fact pull the user name which is good for what I wanted to do.  When I open the form on my computer however it was pulling my Windows logon name I am assuming, which coincidentally is my first name.  Thanks for your response!
