InfoPath Dev

I spent all day/week trying to get something to work. Now my submit button submits without an error but nothing actually submits to my custom list in SP. I've gone over the tutorial at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc162745.aspx over and over and over and over again. Are there any other/better tutorials? How is one meant to learn InfoPath if nothing works or there is no decent/flexible tutorials?

You can add a submit the data using submit data connection. To add a submit button,go through the following link. In this link, follow the steps under ‘Add a Submit Data connection'.

Thanks for the reply. However tutorial only seems relevant for submitting to a library rather than a custom list. Why it is so complicated to submit to a custom list is beyond me...

Thanks. I had tried that one as well (and can get to work) however that assumes text fields only. I am trying to submit a mix of text fields, radio buttons and check boxes.

 Again, I must say, I am amazed at how hard MS have made linking InfoPath to SharePoint for anything beyond submitting to a document library.
