Force InfoPath browser-enabled form to open in the browser

i  published a browser-enabled form to a SharePoint 2007 form library, but the InfoPath form does not open in the browser; it opens in the InfoPath client application instead and i would like for it to open in the browser.

i have done following stes but it is not working

    step1)
    1. On the Tools menu, click Form Options.
    2. Select the Compatibility category.
    3. To make a form template browser-compatible, select the appropriate setting in the Browser compatibility section of the dialog box.
    4. Click OK.

    step2):-

    1. Go to the Form Library to which you published the InfoPath form template.
    2. Click Settings on the Form Library menu bar and choose Form Library Settings from the drop-down menu.
    3. On the Customize <Form Library Name> page under the General Settings category, click Advanced settings.
    4. On the Form Library Advanced Settings: <Form Library Name> page under the Browser-enabled Documents category, choose Display as a Web page.

    step3

    1. Open SharePoint Central Administration.
    2. Click the Application Management tab.
    3. On the Application Management page under the InfoPath Forms Services category, click Configure InfoPath Forms Services.
    4. On the Configure InfoPath Forms Services page under the User Browser-enabled Form Templates category, check Render form templates that are browser-enabled by users.

    Hi,

You can open an InfoPath form in a browser by following below steps.

    1. Go to your sharepoint form library where you have published the InfoPath form

    2. Go to the form library settings.

    3. Click on Advanced settings in General Settings section.

    4. Select ‘Display as web page' in Browser enabled documents.

    5. Click ok.

    Hello Swapna,

I just followed the above three steps  and then published the form to SharePoint Library.Form is opening in browser.

Check again by republishing the form to Sharepoint Form library.
