    Langauge spesific letters

Hi all, I have a question, i was hoping someone could help me with.

I make forms in my company, and these forms are in Norwegian. In norway we have 3 lettes that are different from English (ÆØÅ) It properly wont show here. Anyway, in my form I want it to show a certain field in the subject field when I press Submit. This is not a problem, but the problem happens when this field contain one of these letters. Then all of these letters in the form get unreadable (showing wierd signes, and chinese letters or something) When the field contains english letters, all of the Norwegian spesific letters are shown with no problem else in the form. Why is this?

Hope anybody can help me, and understand my problem. :)

    Espen

    Hello Welcome to the Forums,

Let me explain your problem whatever I understood, you are clicking on ‘Submit' button certain field shows the data other than English. This field data property is applicable for all of the fields and form gets unreadable right or some thing else?

Where you are showing those other than English characters, is it in text box or expression box?

What is the functionality of submit button here?

    Hi.

I'll try to explain better. We are using the fields where people type in their names. Norwegian names often contain 3 norwegian letters that are not used in english. When we submit the form to email, everything looks fine when we receive the form in an email.

BUT, when i include one of the fields that may contain these letters in the email subject field (so the email subject would look like this: Order for "john Pedersen" where John Pedersen is collected from one of the forms fields, the email looks very wierd. Every norwegian letter just looks like rubish in the whole form.

To sum it up, the form looks great when submitet in Outlook without norwegian letters in the email subject field, but as soon as these letters are in the email subject field, the whole form looks wierd.

    Did this make any sense?
    :)
