can we call a Web service method from InfoPath like windowforms
I added a web reference. i've an exception

Dim WebMethodAjouterRisque As New AjouterRisque.Service

Dim iCode as integer

Dim sNom as string

WebMethodAjouterRisque.AJOUTER(iCode, sNom )

AjouterRisque: is web reference

AJOUTER is webmethod

I use vbnet and infopath 2007

Yes, you can call web service methods in InfoPath.Can you give me the details of your exception.So that i can help you.

Exception is : The exception securityException has not been managed by the user code(Failed to request permission of type 'System.Net.WebPermission, System, Version = 2.0.0.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = b77a5c561934e089 failed.)

as if I have no right to call the web service

Hello,

You may not be able to do this without setting your form to full trust, and even then it may not be possible. Typically in InfoPath one would call a webservice by using a Data Connection. Is there a reason you do not want to do that?
