Hi:

 Is there any way to disable the submitt button in Task form when Submit to Host option is selected and also retain the data(like user comments) in the task form. I have custom workflow, in which I have implemented serveral task forms.

Once the user approves, his task gets completed and goes the next higher level. Once the user completed his task, i want the submitt button to be disabled and retain his activity(like comments, approve/reject) in the task form.

 Any idea/hints would be a great help.

Hi,

Try with this:

1. Add one boolean hidden field "Is Approved" to schema.
2. Bydefault this field value should be "False.
3. Set this field value as "true" when user approve the form.
4.  To displable the button add following code in the HTMl page.

If(Is Approved == "true")
{
ButtonID.Disabled = true;
}

ButtonID --> Your form submit button Id.

It would be great if you can explain in bit detail. So here is the thing, I need to do.

 1. Add one hidden textbox(name: IsApproved) to the task form.

2. Set its default value to false.

3. On submit button, add a rule to set this textbox field value to true.

4. Now, i need add the code in HTML page. I am not sure how to add this code. It you can explain me this point, it would be great.
