after inserting data to database how to show sucess page or page refresh for submitting another record.

Hi,

Add Rule to the Button to show the Success message after submitting to Db.

1. Double click on the button and Select Rules button.
2. Click on “Add” button and Click on “Add Action” button.
3. Select “Show a Dialogue box Message” from Action dropdown.
4. Enter your message in “Message” field.
5. Click on ok.

And also add rule to clear the values in the form after showing the success message.

1. Double click on the button and Select Rules button.
2. Click on “Add” button and Click on “Add Action” button.
3. Select “Set a Field Value” from Action field.
4. Select field xpath from “Field” text box.
5. Leave “Value” as blank.
6. Click on ok.

Hello,

Do you want to refresh the page or update records you want to display in your page then after submitting data to database you have to call retrieve connection from database. It will give updated records data with newly added record also included in that result.

Above rule will fire always when we try to submit the record to database. If the record submitting fails also it will give success message. For this we have to write the code to get the record is submitted successfully or not.
