How can i control the width of the task pane? when I view the form on other computers with different resolutions, it comes up to narrow and has a horizontal scroll bar that I would like to prevent.

We don't have option to set the task pane width in InfoPath or using code. By default it will open with the size of machine task pane width. We don't have any option to control it.
