Hello,

I need to activate a workflow after one infopath form is submitted, and as part of the workflow tasks, another infopath form should be opened, filled and then manipulated in the workflow.

Is it possible???

You mean to implement the work flow after first submit of the form? It means any user able submit the form to SharePoint. After submit you want to implement the work flow in InfoPath form? Otherwise after submitting the one form user will get different form If user opens the submitted form?

After the first submit the workflow will begin. The person who should get the notification mail should open a different form (but with data from the first form).

The workflow is actually a kind of approval workflow, but the approver is a different one each time (he's the manager of the one who initiated the workflow).

How you want to send the notification to mail? Where you will get that alias or email address value from the form? If you have that value in main DOM node then we have to check in onLaod, opened user and notification user is same or not?

If form opened user is equal to notification user then we will open the form with data. (This is submitted as first form). Otherwise we will give some pop up message and close the form.

The mail address is a mandatory field in the first form.

The user who opened the first form (and by that initiated the workflow) is not the same one who gets the notification mail.

Is the onLoad method is in the workflow code?

If the user opened and whom we are sending the mail is not same then we have to check the in onLaod in InfoPath form, notification user and form opened user is same or not? If not we have to give some pop up and close the form.
