Is there a way to improve the time it takes to open a 2003 form with many connections to SQL tables?  It opens, but the time it takes could be a bit shorter...

One thought is to decrease the time to open a form by not connecting the data source every time a form is opened. I mean when we take a data connection we will check ‘automatically retrieve data when form is opened' check box. Uncheck that check box and query that when ever needed in the code.
