I have a form that submits to a Sharepoint form library. I have a couple computers that have problems. I don't know without going really deep into my code if anyone can help me figure this out.
One user is getting this weird problem on his computer. I also noticed this with my own user account on a different computer as well. I've only seen this on two computers out of many of these I've tried the form on.
This is the error on submit:
**********************
The form cannot be submitted to the following location: http:\\mysharepointsite\formlibrary\formnumber.xsl [THIS IS NOT THE REAL PATH]
The site may be offline, read-only, or otherwise unavabilable.
The handle is invalid
**********************
The user can log into another computer and submit the form fine. This to me eliminates a security issue with sharepoint.
I logged into this computer with my account and tried to submit the form and I got the same error message. This lead me to believe something was wrong with the Office 2003 install. I uninstalled it and reinstalled Office 2003. After doing this, I was able to log in with my account and submit the form without the error. I then had the user log back into the computer and he still got the error with his account with a fresh Office install. I then thought it was maybe related to his profile on that computer, so I deleted the profile and had him log in again with a fresh profile. Under a fresh profile on his computer, I still got this error. By the way, the computer is running XP Pro SP2 and Office 2003 SP3
I have seen it on another computer but I haven't had time to test on this one. This computer has XP Pro SP3 and Office 2003 SP3.
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I could post some code, but I think it isn't code or security related. I think it is isolated to the computer. This form has been live for awhile now with many users using it without problems.
Thanks,
Jamie
