    http link control ?

    All:

I would like to give my users the posibility of putting a link to a file (\\server\share\file or http://host/site/file )

on an InfoPath form. Also when they're viewing already filled up forms they would like to simly click on the link and have

the file opened in the corresponding shell application.

How could I accopmplish this with InfoPath 2003 ?

       TX

    Hi Guillermo.

You can have them just paste the link into a text field which then you could bind a hyperlink control to.

If they always save it in a set location they could just put the file name and the rest could default.

If you want them to be able to browse out to a file, you would need code and full-trust and greatly complicate the form.  So I would use the simple approach if at all possible.
