Edit data in an access database via a infopath form

    Hi together!

I have a infopath form with a database connection to ms access (first connection). In this database
I created a query with a top 5 of data of the main table of the database. This once are nubered from
1 to 5. I want to give a user the chance to change this numbers in the infopath form. The result should
    be saved in the maintable:

    Name1 - 1
    Name3 - 2
    Name5 - 3
    Name2 - 4
    Name4 - 5

    How can I handle this?

    Hi,

The data cannot be changed if the datatype of the numbers is 'AutoNumber' in access database, if the datatype is other than autonumber it can be changed.

Ok, but how can I do it by code. In VBA for example I write a SQL String like UPDATE [Table] SET [TopNumber] = 2 WHERE [Name]="Name1"

How can I handle this in Infopath if i want to define a code for an button?
