    Hi,

    Set the status of the form in a hidden field (ex: status). And put a rule for the form using that field.

    1.       Go to Tools-> Form Options.

    2.       In Open and save tab, Click on Rules button.

    3.       Click on Add  and then click on SetCondition button.

    4.       If status is equal to ‘approved’

     (approved – this is the value set to status when the form is in approval status.)

    5.       Click Add Action. Select Switch View in Action drop down and select the appropriate view name in View drop down.

    Re: open different view for approval form

    Hi,

    First add two views to the form normal view and Approval view.1.      Add one status field to the form and by default value should be “1”. Set the value to “2” while submitting the form.2.      If you are using SharePoint workflow get SharePoint status field instead of adding new status field to schema. First get the work flow status from SharePoint and set it in to a field in your form. By following these steps you can get the Work flow status into your form.
          a.  Take the secondary data connection as Receive data connection to SharePoint list (Make sure that Work flow column check box in data connection wizard is checked).
          b.  Add a status field in form and bind that field to Work flow column from SharePoint by filtering the value using file name (Make sure that your file name should be unique).
    3.      Then in onload add a rule so that if work flow status field is equal to ‘2’ (generally the work flow column will be ‘2’ for Approved forms) then switch to ‘Approval’ view. To do this follow these stepsa.
       1. Go to Tools->Form Options.
       2. Select Open and Save category in Form Options window.
       3. Click on Rules button.
       4. Click on Set Condition button.
       5. Set the condition work flow status field is equal to ‘2’. Then Click ok.
       6. Click on Add->Add Action.
       7. In Action window select Switch Views.
       8. Select ‘Approval’ view.
       9. Click Ok until all the windows get closed.
