    Conditional Formatting

I'm trying to use Conditional Formatting to hide a control.

One of two conditions has to be met for the control to appear - either Status must = "Accept Availability", or AvailabilityAccepted must = TRUE.

In my conditional formatting, I have the following:
    If this condition is true:
Status is not equal to "Accept Availability" or
AcceptedAvailability is not equal to TRUE
    Hide this control.

It's still not working like it should, though.  Even though I'm using OR, both conditions must be met for the control to appear.

    Any suggestions?

Crazy as this is going to sound, I believe with negative conditions you have to use 'and'. Switch that 'or' to 'and' and give it a try....

Tried that.  Both conditions still have to be met.

Weird -- I tried a little demo and 'and' worked when 'or' didn't. I suppose you also tried creating two separate conditions? What happens then?

Nevermind, changing it to and worked.  (I accidentally changed one of my "is not equal" statements to "is equal", which is why my previous test didn't work.)

    Thanks for your help!
