    Problem with font

    Hi,

     I have designed a new InfoPath form for my project.I have used "verdana" "8"  font in the form.

    I have repeating section in which I have added a rich text box,which allows the user to enter comments.The repeating section has "Insert item" label.So when a user click on "Insert item" new item is inserted.

    Now the problem is I have browser enabled form.The font of only "Insert item" appears in "Arial" "10",but for all the other fields the font is "verdana" "8".

    I changed "Insert item" font to  "verdana" "8" but it is not working.

    Hi,

    Up to my knowledge it is not possible to change the formatting of "Insert item" like color, font etc.

    Hi, To my knowledge, there is no direct option to change the font of the ‘insert item’. But we can change this by adding the options to field in view.xsl manually. To do this follow the below steps. Note: Better to take a back up of the form before doing this change.1.    Find out the view in which the rich text box field is there. Open the appropriate view.xsl.2.    Search for the group xpath (ex: my:group1/my:group2(search for this) where the rich text box xpath is /my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2)3.    In this, you will find <div><xsl:apply-templates select="my:group1/my:group2" mode="_1"/>                                                <div class="optionalPlaceholder" xd:xmlToEdit="group2_1" tabIndex="0" xd:action="xCollection::insert" align="left" style="WIDTH: 651px ">Insert item</div></div>4.    Add ‘; FONT-SIZE: 8pt; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana’ in the div tag. Then it becomes like <div><xsl:apply-templates select="my:group1/my:group2" mode="_1"/>                                                <div class="optionalPlaceholder" xd:xmlToEdit="group2_1" tabIndex="0" xd:action="xCollection::insert" align="left" style="WIDTH: 651px; FONT-SIZE: 8pt; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana’ ">Insert item</div></div>5.    Save the xsl. And close it.
