InfoPath and pre-populating a form with sharepoint user information

I have tried several ways how to pre-populate a form with user information from AD in Infopath. I was able to do this, but it only works within InfoPath on my local machine. As soon as I publish the form out to SharePoint and then try to open the a new document in a Form Library list the pre-population does not work. So i am thinking of pulling user information from SharePoint itself. Anyone have any ideas or examples.

** Also in a previous post I asked once I create some code behind in the load event, it appears that you need to copy the entire c# project over to the server in order for the code behind code to work in infopath. Is this really true? from what I read and tired it seems that you have to do that. It just seems strange. If i have 12 forms then i am going to have several files on the server.

    Thanks,

    Bill

    Hello,

While publishing the form to SharePoint did you change the AD service url? What is the url of AD service? Can you give more details on it? What is the error you are getting while open the new document?
