InfoPath Dev

Dear All,

I am trying to establish a suitable form for the collection of data via email, frustratingly this is remarkably easy to do within Access which will automatically create a form for me, but over which I don't seem to be able to exercise any design or content control, but if I try and create said form in infopath, the data query connection seems to block publication by email.  For clarity I do not want or need said connection but I do need to be able to submit the data to the database.

Please tell me what I am missing here, I am sure it is simple..

There is a built in wizard that allows you to do this with a submit button,

Hi Shiva,

Think I may have expressed the problem badly.  When I want to publish my form, I cannot use the email to users option because it has a data query connection.. I need to remove this connection but do not know how.. in its absence I would I believe be able to send the form out to users without publishing it to a server.

 
Correct me if I am wrong in that assumption.

I'm having the exact same issue. Easy to create the from via the wizard but I can't customize it in any way?
