    Updating the Submitted data

     i have this scenario

i'm using infopath form for email request that needs approval from my manager (via email), it also get recorded to SQL Database

i already done that but i'm confuse for the part Manager's approval, so i plan to submit it to SharepointList where my manager can view the infopath form and reupdated the approval field..

i manage to do it via View in infopath but i can't figure it out how to update the field in SQL Database

    any insight?  or better idea?

PS: i'm using Office 2007 and SQL 2005

    thanks,

    erick

    Hello Welcome to the Forums,

How you are submitting the form to database using code or rules? We can update the field value using code. First we need to check in database that row is already exist or not. If row is exist then we have to call the update query method in code to update the field values.

    Hi,

Store primary Key column in your form, Check whether the primary key column exists and if exists then call a stored procedure to update values in table/tables in your code.
