Hi,

I have published a infopath form to a sharepoint site as a document library. I have added some fields of infopath form while publishing so that they would appear as columns in a sharepoint list.

Consider the list name as "My_Template". Can I import a different excel spreadsheet with different fields to the "My_Template". So that the fields in excel spreadsheet also appears as columns in "My_Template". So the fields of infopath form and fields of excel sheet should appear as coulumns in a sharepoint list.

 One of the option can be by adding an extra column and by copy/pasting from the spreadsheet to SharePoint:

This can be done by going to Actions-->Edit in Datasheet

Right clicking on the column and add column and paste the data from spreadsheet.
