I have searched through the forums and can not seem to locate what I am looking for, it could just be that I'm not reading the posts right but if you can help I would appreciate it.
I have read a number of post(s) including Matt Faus's tutorial on connecting to a data XML file and another post which said to export the list to spreadsheet from MOSS then open the oic file and read the URL and connect to that, however still can not achieve what I would like or what I have done with IP 03 & Access.
What I am using: MOSS 07 & Infopath 07
What I have done in IP 03, Access & MOSS 07 is to link a database to the form and query by a particular field, in this example it's by a "claim number" and then that searches the database and returns the data to that claim number in the fields below (image link) and in main connections I had "Query Fields" and "Data Fields" (image link) so this enabled me to use a Query button and all the data would populate no problem.
Moving into IP 07 and trying to have a browser enabled form; I run into some problems - I know I can't connect to database (Access) and have browser form, so I thought I would set up a list of all the data I need to pull, there are about 11 columns and x number of rows; what I would like to do is to achieve what I had with IP 03 and Access. So far what I have managed to do is to connect the list to my form, I've setup a "Refresh" button thinking that would allow the Query but all I seem to get is depending on how I structure the form, the data from the first row in the list, or every single row in the list.
