    Thanks Shilpa,

    I checked the article as you have mentioned but it is about the integration with the BizTalk server. I am not currently using BizTalk server and I want to use the Oulook object to create the appointment entries for different people.

    What I am trying to accomplish as a part of meeting management system is to send the meeting invites to people selected from the drop down list with proper date, time and location specified. I have implemented the email notification to the people but would like to create a calendar entry for these people in their outlook.

    Not sure how revelant this post is anymore but thought I would give a go at it for any one that might stumble onto it later.

    Here is an article that will help you achieve just that.

    Its in visual basic however so it would need to be converted to jscript if that is the language your form uses and I imagine your form would also need to be signed and fully trusted. Hope it helps.

    Also to adress the (Meeting invite) you would need to add the following code

    objAppointment.MeetingStatus = 1
    objAppointment.RequiredAttendees = "[email protected]"
    objAppointment.Send

    We implemented this functionality for one of our forms by making webdav calls from inside of our form code (implemented in C#). If you'd like some sample code, just let me know.
