Hi,

Is there a way of changing the behaviour of the insert item button to  insert item before on a repeating section?

When we click on insert item button we cannot insert item before on a repeating section . But we can insert item before on repeating section by using the widget options or by writing the code for inserting item before on repeating section(for this we need to use one button.So that whenever the user clicks on that button the code will add the item before on the repeating section ).

For repeating tables:

Open "Repeating Table Properties" -> Click "Customize Commands..." -> in the action window click the down arrow and select "Insert Above" -> check the "Shortcut Menu" option

The only catch to this is that you have to "add" using the shortcut menu that pops up to the left of the table

For repeating section:

Open the "Repeating Section Properties" -> Click on "Modify" on the repeating group -> Click "Customize Commands" -> in the action window click the down arrow and select "Insert Above" -> check the "Shortcut Menu" option.

Again the catch is you have to use the shorcut menu that pops up when you click within the section.
