SQL Sever 2000 views do not appear

I am making a form and I add a view to the SQL Server 2000 database and it doesn't show up when I try to make an InfoPath 2007 connection.  It shows the 2 default views made when the database was made and it shows the tables but any views I add do NOT show up.  I've tried closing InfoPath and opening it and looking with the same results - the original stuff is there but not the views I made.  The views work fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I would check the permissions on the views.

Also make sure you go through the Data Connection wizard again (modify Main) so that it reinterrogates the Database, this does not happen automatically.

    Right you are.

Maybe you can answer another question.  I was thinking of using SQL Server application security but when I try to send the command to start using the application role I get a security error.  It won't let me send commands to SQL Server - except the InfoPath connections that are used.

My other idea was to set up a user - give that user the needed access to SQL Server and control access in InfoPath itself.  Does this sound like a reasonable idea?

     Thanks

Best practice is to use windows security and just have a user group which has access and the users are members of.

But yes you can add the generic SA account to your ODBC connection to the database.
