Button Submit to Multiple Emails based on a Condition on a Rule

    Hi,

I have a form where I need to submit to multiple emails based on what the user select from a drop down list.  Each value in the drop down has a specified email for it.  I already know how to do this, however I was just wondering if there is an easier way of going about it since there are 85 emails that I have to assign, so therefore I have to manually add 85 email submit data connections and then manually put in 85 different rules each with a condition set on them as well on a Submit button.

There must be some faster way of doing this.

    Hi,

Create one xml file with dropdown values and email addresses.

Ex:<Emails>  <personName Email ="Test[email protected]">Test1</personName>  <personName Email ="Test[email protected]">Test2</personName></Emails> Add xml file as a receive data connection. Add following condition in the β€œTo” field in Email Data connection. β€œ@Email[Personname = Dropdownfield]” Email and Personname fields are secondary XMl fields. And dropdown field is a main schema Dropdown field.

I hope this will help you.

    Thanks heaps!

That seems so easy now that I think of it.  I don't even need to create an XML file.  I'm just going to use the SharePoint list and as the user select the field it automatically populates the email from the list and then use that as the email field in the email submit data connection.

     Easy!
