    Filtering Secondary Data

    Hello,

Could any one tell is there any possibility to filter Secondary Data. For example, I have a secondary data source (with connect with SharePoint list) at my form and I have repeating table witch displaying this data, but I don't want to see all the data, but some of them. Of course I could copy this data to Main Data Source and then filter it, but I don't want do it. Is there any other way to solve that task?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hi,

One way is set the conditional formatting for the repeating table . So that you cannot see the unneeded data in UI. The other way is while getting the data from the sharepoint apply the filter.

    Re: Filtering Secondary Data

Hello swathip, thanks for your response!

But what do you mean under "conditional formatting" - to hide fields that I don't need? Anyway if I just hide rows I don't need it won't work for me, because I have Total fields and they would be calculating with the rows I don't need to be calculated :(

My first attempt (as you said) was to filter data while I getting it, but unfortunately I didn't understand how, maybe there is topic about how to do that?

    Thanks in advance,
    Leonid.

    Hello  sandhyapati,

I've just notice your answer, somehow didn't saw it before. Thanks for your replay and the link. I looked through it briefly and I think that is what I need now. I'll try it first thing tomorrow.

    Best Regards,
