    Display Approver in infopath form.

Hi All, I'm new to sharepoint and just trying to put together a workflow to approve purchase orders. I want the workflow to do the following,

    1. User fills out purchase order and submits to Form Library
    2. Email is sent to approver letting them know there is a order which needs to be approved.
    3. Once approved the form is updated with a field saying the order is approved and who it was approved by
    4. An email is sent to the creator, the creator then prints the form.
Currently I have everything working except including the approval on the form.

    So far I have tried.

    • including a control in the form with the @approval_status from the form library I am submitting to but it will only show the initial approval status of 2 (pending). This does not update when I approve the document.
    • Createing an Open rule which switches to a different view when @approval_status = 0. This didn't work, so just for kicks I tried @approval_status ≠ 2, this also did not work.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance.
