How do I make a multiple paged form fillable within the browser

I have a 5 page form that has to be linked to one another, the pages have to be separated since the forms have to be printed with their respective pages. How should i go about this?

    Please help.

     Hi,

To switch between views / pages in infopath, you can insert a button on the views and then setup a rule on the same button to switch to another desired view.

    Thanks,

    Paresh

    Hi,

You can create a single XSN file with multiple view. Keep "Next" button on each screen which will navigate you to next view. This will simulate an environment like wizard.

As a small addition and a little gotcha, also remember that if you do not provide in each view a way to go back to the previous one (sort of a forward only wizard) you might incur in validation issues, if you have a required field editable in a view that is no more reachable :-)

So you probably have to ensure that no invalid data is inserted upon view switch.

    Hi,

This can be easily implemented by displaying the all your views in taskpane. By clicking the views in task pane you can navigate to the corresponding view. Please go through the link below.

I guess the requirement is to have "multiple pages" in browser forms, so the approach you are suggesting cannot (unfortunately) be applied.

When you do not have the back button to navigate back to the previous view and correct the data, you can add the code behind on the Next button on each view that will check the error collection count and if it is not zero then you will not allow user to move to next view/screen without correcting the iinformation entered on that view.
