Creating web page forms, submitting for approval, and workflows

    Hi,

I am new to the whole Infopath and SharePoint world, so pardon me if I am a little confused :). Basically, what my company is trying to do is set up forms to be posted on SharePoint, be filled out, submitted, and approved. When the form is submitted the information from the form as to travel with it. After the form reaches the approver, some information needs to be filled out as well, and then submitted to another approver, who possibly would have to fill out additional information. Right now I have the form created and I can view it in a browser, though, I am unable to submit it . I have been going to forum post after forum post, and I feel like I'm just getting confused.

    Hello,

In order to submit the form into a sharepoint list or library enter your form in design mode and click Tools > Data Connections

Add a new data connection to Submit to a Sharepoint List or Library... Select the appropriate columns, etc.  Once you have the form submitting you will want to create a custom workflow attached to the library using SPD

    Thanks,

You have complete the Submit setup within InfoPath in the Tools> Submit Options, as well as defining where the form will be stored on your SharePoint server.
