Hello,

I have a form with at least three views,

StartingView
ReworkView
FinalizedView

In ReworkView I need to have all digital singatures erased and all other data maintained - (this is hopefully being addressed via another post to this forum from last week)

In Finalized view I need to make it so that digital signatures on the form cannot be removed via any easy method.

Any ideas or insight would be appreciated.

Hi Eric,
I would look at signing individual sections as opposed to the entire forum. Then you can have some sections that show data which is editable where other sections (in your Finalized View) are locked down. Keep in mind that the fields are locked down when the form is signed. If the data field is in a section that has a signature, you can't show the data from that field in an unsigned view and expect it to be editable as this would invalidate the signature (which ensures that data does not change). To get around that, you can have duplicate values and use a rule to set the other field on change so that it is in essence a copy.

Reviewers add signatures in the form to lock down discrete data sections in the form. When the form changes to rework view all the signatures need to be removed unlocking these discrete data sections and allowing for new changes to be made by the original submitter. As the form goes back to review - the reviewers can resign and relock the discrete data sections.

If the form goes to finalized view than I don't want the signatures to be removed anymore by the reviewers or the data sections changed by the submitter.
