Field Becomes Locked After Submitting Form To SharePoint Library Then Re-Opening Form

We have an InfoPath 2003 form that submits/saves to the SharePoint Form Library, however when the form is re-opened one of the key fields is not editable any more.  I have looked through as many fields as I can to see if there is a rule that is tied to an odd field that locks the key field/makes it read only (it does not appear to truly be read only, but I cannot edit the data when I open the form after saving).  It may or may not be related to a rule that makes the field read only on save.

Is there a way to view all rules in form without accessing each field then looking for the applicable rules?

Is this an issue that someone has encountered before where it is not rule related, but just some issue with submitted to a datastore then having a field become read only when it is read back out?

    Hi, Jonathan:

InfoPath 2007 has a logic inspector that will show you rules, but for InfoPath 2003, I would suggest the following:

    1. Extract your form files (you can do this from the File menu when the form is in design mode)
    2. Open the manifest.xsf with Notepad or another text editor
    3. Search for ruleSet (or scroll toward the bottom of the file

There you will see all your rules! You can even do a search for the troublesome field if there are a lot of them.
