    InfoPath 2003 form and Vista/Office 2007 users

    Hello,

I've had more and more users encounter the following error when trying to open an InfoPath 2003 form using Vista/Office 2007 PC:

InfoPath cannot open the following file: http://infopathform  The form contains schema validation errors.  Details: Element  '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-09-17T...etc.  Expecting:  {http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-09-17T....etc

All users were able to successfully open any of the existing InfoPath forms that were created using InfoPath 2003 when they were using PCs that were running XP and Office 2003.  Now that they have new PCs running Vista and Office 2007 some of the IP2003 files they can open.....others they can not and they get the error message above.  I tried having them locate and delete the FormCache1 folder within Application Data\Microsoft\InfoPath\FormCache1 but we can not locate that folder within Vista/Office 2007.

Anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this?

Have you tried updating thew form template to 2007?

Open in designer in 2007 and save it either as a 2003 compatible template or as a 2007 version?
