It's a form I am creating myself. I'm a consultant to an organisation who was hired as a technical writer but has ended up mainly doing SharePoint content development.
This form started out as a checklist in Excel, so I have taken that and converted it to InfoPath. They like InfoPath a lot, now they've seen it, but I'm pretty new to it myself (i.e. a month ago, didn't know anything beyond the name.)
I created the form as a set of repeating tables (i.e. Preparation Phase, Handover Phase, etc). Then I output the blank form and add rows to each section, and copy in the entries from the Excel sheet. Then I save that version as the actual 'user template' which the consultants are required to complete. This means I can update the controls on their forms by updating the content type, without changing the content.
Each row/task has a Status, which is a drop-down: Not Started, In Progress, Complete. When the consultant starts a new project, every row on the form will be Not Started. They work through the task list and gradually check off every row as In Progress and then Complete.
That is why we want to report on the overall status at a glance - so at the top of the Form, in the header, the GPMO can see the percentages.
