This is very strange... we have the same OS, same IE... but you always publish a blank message. Try switching infopathdev.com from the Internet zone to a trusted site to see if there is a script that is getting blocked for some reason.

 Okay I have switched over to FireFox 3.0.1 from Internet Explorer 7.  Lets see what we get...

 Yeah I know!  It just occured to me that a different browser would probably fix the problem.  I'm a bit embarassed I didn't think of it earlier though...  Thanks to everyone who helped!
