UNC path link in an email instead of an attachment

    Hi,

Can Infopath send in the body of an email a UNC path as a link to the published xsn form rather than the form as an attachment?

My reasoning for this is to limit the amount of xsn forms in user's inboxes.  Also, a link would be good because there would only be one form and that form would be updated all the time.  The current workflow entails sending a form to various people after each person adds to the form.

Let me know if I need to clarify any of this.

    Thanks everyone.

This can be done, and I think it is preferrable.

I have seen the hyperlink put into the subject line or Intro by concatenating the library with the file name of the form.

If all you want is the template then that is static and should be very easy.

Also with IP2007 you can select not to attach the form which automatically puts a link instead.

The template is in the library, in the forms hidden folder and called template.xsn if you do not know.

    Hi Clay,

How do I go about doing this?  "concatenating the library with the file name of the form."

Can this be done with Infopath 2003?

How would you go about this?  The forms travels to various people who edit it and submit to the database.  This is all done via email.  As of right now, the forms show up as attachments and sometimes they may have 2-3 copies of the same form but with different data.  What kind of solution can be applied here so that the forms could be in synch no matter what stage of the form was orginally emailed as?
