    Highligthed Rich Text in Print

Hi, I set some Rich Text in a form so users could write their comments to an item, and use bold, underline, or highlight to make their points clear; part of the idea is to recreate some existing printed reports where they do this.

When I print the form I see that color, font and bold print exactly as they show on the form, but highlighting doesn't show. And they currently use it a lot!

Is there a way to enable text highilighting to show when priting a form?

    Thanks,

    Ben Sagalovsky

    Hi Ben,

I believe you need to turn on "print background colors" in order for this to work. The default setting in InfoPath is to NOT print background colors. If you go into "options" you will see the option to turn that on.

I just tested and for me turning that on and off made the highlighted text show up in a print.

If you have issues with that, be sure to turn the background color option on in IE as well as InfoPath uses IE as it's renderer...

    Good luck
