    microsoft.office.interop.infopath.dll ?

Can someone give me some insight as to where I can find the microsoft.office.interop.infopath.dll file?

I have Office 2007 Enterprise Trial installed.  I installed VSTO 2005 but that didn't seem to add anything.  I've done a full search on my drive for the file and no luck.

I'm missing something very obvious here...

    Thanks,

     Shane

    Hi, and welcome:

On my machine it was in the GAC -- here is how I found the path. I created a new InfoPath form (not attached to Visual Studio) and under Tools/Form Options/Programming, selected C# (Infopath 2003 Compatible). Then I opened VSTA and selected the reference and copied the path (C:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC\Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath.SemiTrust\11.0.0.0__71e9bce111e9429c\Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath.SemiTrust.dll on my machine) from the properties. You don't need it for the 2007 object model, tho, just if you are programming for the 2003 om.

Hmm.. I have added the SemiTrust dll.  I'm actually looking for Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath.ISubmitToHostEventHandler but it doesn't seem to exist.

When I added SemiTrust I got access to Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath.Semitrust.* but not what I'm looking for.

    Thanks,

    Shane

I'm sorry -- I should have read the question more carefully. Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath is in the GAC, too -- I'm not certain how to find the path, but this KB from Microsoft has information on adding assemblies to the Add Reference dialog.
