Digital Signatures and Common Access Card (CAC) integration

I work for the department of defense and I am trying to determine the best way to implement digital Signatures which has a certificate from a smart card and Active directory. The user signs on to the network with his Common Access Card or Smart Card. Is it possible for the user to sign the form by entering the same pin they used to sign on with there Common access card to sign the form as well. The pin would be an 8 digit pin number. Or will the form be signed with there name from Active directory? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can use an Active Directory web service to identify the user and there login details.

So if they have already authenticated you can piggy back on to it by linking their login to the form.

You can also use digital signatures with their login.

I would think once they have authenticated to get the form, which can also be dynamically secured and controlled via a database that the signature could be automatic. but it depends on your requirments.

You could maybe use code to also call the pin code app.

You can get an Active Directory Web Service or the whole set of tools in the download area. There are tutorials as well. Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.1 - Developer

I'm working at a installation that don't allow downloads of tools on there system. Is there any other way. I mean a simple but productive way, besides downloading a tool. I could use the toturial.

Did you have any luck with this yet?  I'm in the same boat and am having a hard time finding any support for this online.
