I have a field that needs to calculate the percent change of two other fields. I need to display the % symbol in the field with one decimal place. I tried using this formula

concat((((field1 / field2) - 1) * 100), "%")

with the percentage format, but I don't get any decimal places even though I set the decimal places to 1.

Any suggestions?

Hi kerri welcome to the forums

Whenever we trying to set one value which contains strings or any characters then it shows the validation error like “Only numbers allowed”. Then how you can set this formula for that filed which is data type as “Decimal (double)”.
This has the data type as “Decimal (double)” only we can set the decimal places. Both string format (along with %) and decimal places are not possible for one filed.

Can you explain me on which field you are setting this formula and data type also?
