    Combining Numbered List and Section

I have an InfoPath form with two views to be used for a contract system.  One view is a form which allows users to specify contract details.  The second view is the contract printout generated automatically according to what is selected the first view.

When creating the second view, I am storing clauses as plain text in sections so that I can hide or show clauses depending on what the user chooses.  Now I'd like my clauses to be numbered but I have a small complexity.  I would like the numbering to adjust automatically to reflect the number of clauses that is currently showing up.  Is it possible to combine a numbered list with my sections to achieve these scenarios?

Scenario 1. Three clauses active, therefore 3 clause sections showing up and accordingly numbering ends at 3

    1. Clause Text
    2. Clause Text
    3. Clause Text

Scenario 2. Four clauses active, therefore 4 clause sections showing up and accordingly numbering ends at 4

    1. Clause Text
    2. Clause Text
    3. Clause Text
    4. Clause Text

    Hi,

Can you please try the below steps.

Add one expression box to the section. Open the expression box properties and add the “Position()” function in the xpath field.
