Regform - msi can't be generated

I am trying to created a trusted form, I have followed the steps on the how to create a trusted form example on thsi site with the SaveAs.xsn. I have Visual studio 2003 and Visual studio 2005 installed, i'm using 2003 for the how to example.

When I try to run the regform command I get the following error:

Error: The Microsft System Installer (.msi) file cannot be generated.
    The application cannot be launched.
    Command line: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe "C:\DOCUME~1\rogagek\Locals~1\Temp\RegForm\setup.vdproj" / build release/project setup
    Undefined system error - 0x000000c1.

Any ideas how i can recolve this problem?

    Thanks

Once you install VS2005 you need an updated regform.exe file. I don't recall where exactly on the Microsoft site you can download this from, but once your get it you will be able to once again generate MSI files.

OK, its took me a little while but I've cracked it, here's the solution for anyone else who needs it:

There is a disc within the discs that come with Visual Studio 2005 that has Office InfoPath 2003 Toolkit for Visual Studio 2005 on it. You need to install this.

Once this is installed you can do the regform action to generate an msi for your form. One strange thing I found though, I had to publish the form in the folder where the regform.exe is stored: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 2003 Developer Resources\Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 SDK\Tools

Then generate the msi for it from there. Once the msi is created you can install it anywhere so its not a big problem just a bit of a chore trying to get the folder in the command prompt window.

Thanks for the help and hope this helps someone else.
