    Hi there What if I need to check if the List Box in InfoPath, which is surely Choice type, contains the other control that gets the User Name? The expression is: contains(dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:LineManagers, dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:UserName) What should I change in this expression? P.S. List Box gets the values from data connection. Thanks in advance

    A little appendant. I do not want to select any option in list box I just want the rule to work when the form is opened. My main problem is to check if my list contains the username, and as data connections are not working on textboxes I had to use choice type controls

    Any chance you could attach your form or a sample showing your issue under the Options tab in a reply?
