    Temporary NameSpace (TNS)

    Hi,

I have a data connection through web service. Web service is returing XML Document that i am able to use successfully.for Using the data connection, obviously secodary data source is created. The Web service takes two input parameters. The Problem is: In the secondary data source; the parameters are tns:Param1 and tns:param2. I believe "tns" represents Temp NameSpace.

I do not want tns; instead i want ns1 (namespace1) for maintaining consistency in different infopath templates. The same web service is returning ns1 in different template.

Can seomebody tell me, how can we change the namespace "tns" to "ns1". Or why is it returning ns1 at one place and tns at another place. (I am using InfoPath 2007; with MOSS 2007.)

    Thanks,

    Ved

    Hi,

Use setproperty(string name, object value) method. First get the secondary dom then apply the method on this dom.

ex: dom.setProperty("SelectionNamespaces", "here mention the name space with which you want to access" )

    Hey Thanks for the Reply.

I could not get where i should use this method. Moreover, I do not want to implement different code in different templates. I want to follow the same code throughout the templates. So instead of Changing code, i would like to have Secondary Data Connection returning same name space each time.

    Thanks,

    Ved
