I would like to capture a piece of information from any SPField within some given SPListItem, like an integer value. I need to then increment that value and append it to an existing form field right before the form is submitted.
I was thinking it'd be simple if I could put the logic in the forms 'FormEvents_Submit' method, but then would I also need to write my own method for submitting the rest of the data to the SharePoint library? Or is there a method to let the form to take over the submitting process after I've done the parts I need?
