InfoPath Dev

I’m using a SharePoint document list to store values. One column is a choice type displaying multiple checkboxes. All works fine in SharePoint.

But when I make a data connection in InfoPath that field does not show.

Why is that and is there a workaround?

You need fields to be in the default view to be available but I do not beleive the choice fields are supported. They are kind of a hack and only work for SP.

You would need to use seperate fields to get the data to InfoPath.

I do have them in my default view, so you must be right about the hack for SharePoint.

I need the fields as it creates the relationship between other fields in my form.

I started off using Access as the database and that works fine. But some of the users on low bandwidth were experiencing random data operation time outs. It was taking a good 50-120 seconds to open the form. So thought I’d try SharePoint.
