Promoting a boolean field and making it available to be edited

    Good morning.

I have an InfoPath 2007 form with a boolean field in its main data source. When publishing the form, this field is promoted so it appears in the form library as a column. I have also selected the option to "Allow users to edit data in this field by using a datasheet or properties page". The idea obviously being that a user can modify that boolean field when looking at the form as a row in a list and the form itself will reflect this change. This works perfectly for text fields.

This form is exhibiting some weird behaviour: When changing the boolean field from true to false from within the SharePoint list, the next time I open the form itself it will reflect this change. However if I change the boolean field from false to true from within the SharePoint list, the next time I open the form the boolean field will still be false. That is, it behaves normally when changing the boolean field from true to false but not when changing it false to true.

I created a small test form containing only a single boolean field and it exhibited the same behaviour.

Is there some concept I am missing here or could this be a bug?

    Thanks in advance

    Lee.
