    OnLoad event is not triggered

I am probably doing something stupid here, so please humour me! I have published a form to a shared drive, and it has a bit of code in the OnLoad event to show the network UserId. When I open the form the event is not triggered, but if I design it the preview it the code runs fine. I want users to be able to just open the form and the UserId to display - whaere am I going wrong?

    Hi Trevor,
    Welcome on board!
Did you try to debug the solution when it is published to networklocation?
Some security Exception might be raised before getting the UserID. When you Preview you will have more privileges that might be the reason you dint see the error.

If there is a failure in the code in your OnLoad event handler, the code just jumps out of the event without reporting a failure (this is only true for the OnLoad event). To alleviate this, try placing your code in a try/catch block to see if a failure is happening somewhere.
