How to link an InfoPath form to a hyperlink on a Intranet?

I created a simple infopath form (no data connections or xml file) and published to a network location. The situation that I have is that not everybody on the company can open the form. The error showed is the one about "the form cannot be displayed...the template was not found" something like that.  I found a tutorial called "Security Error Opening an InfoPath Form" I tried the steps explained there but doesn't work either.

Can someone tell me how am I supposed to link the form? Or do I need to do some other steps to link the form? Does my clients need to download some patch for this to work?

Any help will be very much appreciate.

Do or Do not...there is no try.

You must publish a form to a shared location but also specify the url or UNC a user will use to access it.

So if publishing to \\server\share you might need to specify a different access method is users use mapped drives or access it via a web server.  If they try to access via a mapped drive and it was published as a UNC, it will not work or vice versa.

Also if using IE the server must be in the inranet or trusted security zone. That could be an issue that would block as well but this is more often with data connections.

Otherwise just general file permissions would apply.

Hopefully that can help you pin point the exact issue.
