Is there an easy way to yank the last field of a repeating table? I have one set up with two colums. The first is a function for today's date. The second is a status update.

 I would like to add another field at the top of the form which pulls the last column of the repeating table automatically. This way who ever views the form can get the most updated status easily. Can this be implemented without using programming?

I would think you could use a function to filter by the greatest date. (most recent) or max() and then you would have the latest data.

There also is a last() function for repeating nodes that might work.

max works to let me pull a specific field. is there anyway to tell it pull the whole row for the max field?
