Formatting Goes Haywire in Email Snapshot

I have a form which the user submits via a button on the default view.  The submission process submits the form to a Sharepoint Library, saves the form to the server share file system and then emails a snapshot to a mail enabled folder.

The formatting of this snapshot is not maintained in the email.  I don't want the user to have to change views (to a simpler format) to have to process the form.  Is it possible to call up a different view (via code) for the email part of this submission process?

    Any suggestions?
    Regards - Phil

    Hi Phil.

Do you close the form after this submit process?

If so I have switched to the simple view at the end, then run the email submit, then close and the user never even sees it.

If not then sometimes you can add a button to the simple email summary and treat it like a confirmation button and when they click it they switch back to the default view.  This can work too since you cannot do two view switches in one set of rules.

I believe you could also use code to set a specific view or create the simple summary.

    Hi Clay,

If I switch the view, via code, the email still contains the previous view or no view at all - depending upon the placement of the email function within the overall process.  Also, the email function pauses for the user to press the 'send' button -  another process I would prefer to bypass.

    Regards Phil
